Goodbye our hearts and hello new hearts
PapaJoe and all
Aubrey and all
You and All
8 rises
7 falls
Walking through shared time
Skyscraper tall
Hardened soil
Root knowing of its tend
While hands are building elevators
Roses send friends
Long shadows meet a sunflower’s blend
Light through cracks feed life to no end
Always visible skies
No breaks just bends
Comprehend the extend and next step
Level up sunlight off beams stream kaleidoscopic rainbows meeting intricate glass
fastened transparent clean reflecting
What’s going on.
Shadows long creating puppet shows for ground seekers
Catching glimpses of doorway seekers
Seeing what has become of what’s been going on.
Strong metal upholds until the plan completely unfolds
Fuck what you’re told
If it’s off blueprint whispers
Glimmers of light on cloth yet to unveil
The lost finishing touch
Only speaking lips love
Never forget to etch
Names of ones in touch
The ones who fossilized actions from tongue.
Each floor leaves room for one more above
The sky the sky
The ground doesn’t seek to rise
Stuck heights
On glue
Just can’t move
Until by morning dew
Soften is the hardened
Lay waste in the garden
Compost or cement
Lament
And grow
Move
Towards the further from view
Happy New Year to You.
