I like this lost feeling
I know I’m leading
Myself
Towards
Discovery
The maps I have depended on
Became circular
I realized
The terrain is downtrodden
The feelings at each bend
Were no longer
Purposeful
I jumped
Landed
In this soft and tender soil
Divine between my toes
My heart brave
Trusting intuition
And death
Behind me nothing left
Purpose served
Growth occurred
I’m Amazonian tall
And A Pacifist
What a breath
I’m a tourist
In my own skin
Re-learning
My own skin
Knowing present and coming moments
Are without definition
Knowing
This uncovered recovered
Peace of mind
Took time
To become
Knowing
There is no memory of haunt
To hold
Knowing the ice and the cold
Are now eras
Knowing the Hopeless
Romance
Is a song a partner
Cannot hear
It’s my solo dance
Holding on to my style of love
Not for a chance
But because its my
Makeup’s prance
Knowing the fears
Are now each bold
A calm stance
I like this adrift
Kiss
I like this freedom
This wanderlust
This surrender
This trust
I like being lost
Directionless
Yet
Guided
I like this lightweight
This exhale feels great
This recognition of
Outcome
Knowing what roads
Of the old maps
Belong
I like this embrace
This feeling of fate
I weaved
Without barbwire
The current pulsing bliss
I like not being Me
I like this blob of possibilities
I like this joyful release
I’m my life’s cartographer
Designing with laughter
My Present After.
