It’s 2017, and we still have garbage celebs like Kodak Black perpetuating the continuing epidemic of colorism.

Why does it matter whether someone is dark skinned or, light skinned in 2017? Why?

One’s beauty and worth should not be based on one’s skin complexion in 2017. We’re all black, we’re beautiful, we’re all awesome.

I really don’t have much to say that hasn’t been said already so I’ll leave you with this:

No matter what shade of black you are, we all have the same chance of getting gunned down during a traffic stop.

We all have the same chance of getting choked over illegal cigarettes.

We all have the same chance of getting chased and gunned down by some guy abusing one of many stand your ground laws.

We all have the same chance of getting gunned down for declaring possession of a weapon as a concealed carrier.

Never forget that.

Stay Classy…
