Oddball is happy to present the first of what we hope will be ongoing contributions from C.C. Arshagra a poet who has worn many hats at Stone Soup and the New England poetry scene. Having recently featured at Stone Soup on New Year’s Eve 2012, C.C. is starting up his publishing company press22publishing while hosting his weekly radio show (“The I Do Not Know Show”) on WESU, 88.1 FM, in Middletown, CT at Wesleyan University. The show is archived and episode #71 can be heard here. Next week, we present the first of a never seen series from C.C.

Art is the first voice

Art is the first voice
The sound lasting
Beyond us
The insight is through
The receiver; going through the center of their mind closed

No beauty is dictated
No demands of art are made
No reasons need to be obeyed
Entertainment is a facade at best
Fine is a birthing death that will out live you are here going

Never mattered alone is when you lived

The fail of dedications’ foresight seen throughout its lessons are
The uncompromised silence of your voice unafraid ofyou will die
The marriage to exposing the process of unfolding safety or survival’s
       way
The worth of too much truth to wake
For honestly –alive is too frightened without art
