When I am ready
I want my last steps to be into the blue sea
I want my tired bones to feel the sun
And I want my wrinkled skin to crack in the sand
I want to be surrounded by whoever is left
And I want to float out into the deep
And let the waves crash over me
I don’t want to go when I’m young
I’m not morbid
I want to be old
I want to be ready for the blue eyes
Of mother ocean
To take me in
And bring me towards her
In a comforting embrace
I want the swells to guide me home
And to lay me within her arms
I don’t think it will hurt
As in the water you are so much
Lighter
You just sink.
There is something really beautiful
About it
I hope that’s how it happens
That’s my plan
Way better then gunshots
