This is Not An Exit

Plate glass window
Warns, “Not an exit.”
Polite, with a calm blue dot.

But really?
For me it is.

It’s the best kind of exit.
So subtle and understated
that not the bluest air
nor slightest sky need stir.
Only, in the faraway heavens,
a trace of solar dust kicks up
as I am leaving.
