Listening to
the synth.

It sizzles
my core chakra.

Never been a singer
like Sinatra.

Been a poet
like Mutubaraka.

Been an advocate
like Astrada.

Been singing
in my notebook

from after lunch
and after.

It’s the
next chapter.

Love the laughter
in my head.

Makes me
feel peaceful

like a mad hatter
with blotter.

It’s something
to be seen

when the world
is green and blue.

You see the earth
in front of you.

Hop over a puddle,
an ocean or two.

It’s going to the
end of the record.

Then you break it,
mmake something new.
