Today, I will be better
than I was yesterday.

If I can’t be better
than yesterday,

I will be gentle
to myself.

How often do you
feel like this?

Like the abyss,
can’t dismiss

the slit wrists,
theorist?

The misfit
little imp

can’t exist
without oxygen.

Let the toxins out
with each breath.

Death of ego,
death of self.

Cause there is
no self, Stardust.

I approach
the vibrations,

process each
temptation.

Make my
mind hum

like a
singing bowl

when I sit in
meditation.

Have to touch
a nerve

like a tooth,
pull it.

Got the magic
bullet.

It’s my neuro-
logical pursuit

to push through it.
When I sit in

meditation and
contemplation,

I see the wall
and step through it.
