Sorting through
piles of papers,

sketches,
drafts of poems

because
there are

more words
to write,

more things
to draw,

more thoughts
to process.

I need a
Guardian Angel

who can help
me organize, create.

Perhaps a
publisher

to help me
be “discovered”

instead of
creating piles

of unseen work
on table tops

I pray will
reach the desks

of editors
into anthologies,

transforming me
from dreamer

into one of
those artists

with work that
is read, inspires

others to move
beyond dreaming

to doing. Praise
be the works.
