Little Red Riding Hood and Me

I said
“Hi Red”
because she had red hair.

She said
“Hi Ugly”,
but I guess
I don’t have to explain
that one.

Train Stop

It is a lonely world
some of the time
especially when there is no one
to be with.
Go into the city to find man
and find chaos instead.
Earth spinning,
man spinning,
life spinning around us,
and if it stops
what happens next?
Let me off at the next stop
so I may go somewhere else.

A Name To ….

Shout my name to the world
if it doesn’t already know it.
Sometimes it is necessary
for even me to remind myself
that I too have a name.
A name to remember,
a name to forget,
a name to do what you want
to do with it.
Slaughter it,
step on it,
kiss it,
misspell it.
Whatever may happen,
I will shout it out.
Listen if you want.
