I like to remind God I was made in its image
Only
I was sparked by its divinity but my existence with humanity has been
Flawed
I’m not God
So everytime I give thanks
I make sure that agreement is heard
I was made in your image only
I’m out here learning
How to accept your forgiveness
Protection
Mercy
Grace
Blessing
Without collapsing into a million rainbows of lived promises
Overwhelmed by your miracles
Your patience
I give thanks
For your image
In me I see You
In me I feel You
I continue
To praise the arrival of consciousness at dawn
To pray for the souls bodies and minds of the billions who float along this stream in their own dreams
As your image
Individual make up of genetic traces to the first faces
Of your image
Flawed
Attainment of perfection must never be mentioned
God
We were only made in your image
I feel no pressure to take over your throne
My lane is to remain sane and help sustain the sanity of humanity
We were born into a Spiritual War
In your image
Some may gain wings, some horns, some may suspend in nothingness, some may wander lost, some may return
In your image
I like to remind God I was only made in its image
And give thanks for its presence in my existence
Its acceptance of my evolution
Its guides and guidance
Free Will shining
We are trusted
With its image
When I see you I see the unseen
May you feel beautiful and powerful in your imagery
Of the greatest mystery.
