that firm line that supports us
also is the serpent that transforms
and whether we find it in the Labyrinth
that twists and turns back upon itself
or the curve of our own vertebrae

we transport the great gravity weight
and transform that rigid curve
into the multiple dimensions of space
which carry us to the inner realities
of an outer space far beyond ourselves
