I’m weird
The oddball
Responsive as reflection
To actions
I don’t play nice
I don’t offer my back to anyone’s knife
I don’t see the world as black or white and gray is too distorted
I don’t question intentions
I just move to vibrations
Harmonic steps along with or around
Words are just syllables in sound
I can hear fairy tales and choose to believe
There’s a sale on dreams and when it devolves into a nightmare
Gone void the warranty
No voice is a guarantee
So I pass on hot air and steam
I’m weird
Because I read lips when my hearing is perfect
My vision is 20/20 and I ask for more detail
Show yourself what spidey senses sense
I don’t play pretend
I’m weird because I’m not defensive yet
I fall in hooked to the ledge
Bungie drop
I keep my safe exit
I just head back up
I’m strange because an enemy I’ll hug
Before I cast back their shells
Another man’s heaven is made from another man’s hell
Pleasure sucked through a straw of deceit
Plunged into a sea of retreat
Empty an ocean and claim you’re still thirsty
Selfish desires can never please me
Like they do the simplest of minds
I’ve seen false prophets gather gold for their time
Build mountains with shine
Then foolishly whine
That there’s not enough wealth to appease their mind
I’m weird
Because I call out that blind
I’m against the picket line
The scab only scars wood holders try to hide
Defend the inflicting kind to not feel the bruise of being used
I speak a signless truth
Fuck me? Nah. Fuck you.
I’m strange because I’m good.
Imagine yourself being so misunderstood
Your island of one soul has pirates all shook
Kraken waking to their steadying boots
Standing tall in stars across their coats
Quizzical hesitation from their boats
Dare we?
I’m weird
An oddball
If you want to rise let’s risk it all
If you want take you’ll risk it all
If you want to share you’ll get it all
If you want to push.
Prepare to fall.
I’m a gateless wall.
