I’m really happy that the Sox won the series because:

1. I like seeing my baseball friends happy.

2. I’m Boston sports trash.

Other than that, it’s hard for me to get into baseball. I watch a game every now and then, but I’m just not as crazy about it as everyone else is. I can enjoy a game in person, but it’s difficult for me to watch the games on TV. As a matter of fact, my attention span makes it difficult to get into other sports.

It’s hard for me to keep up with three games a week. Football is more my speed for the sheer fact I only have to commit to one day a week. Because of this, each football game carries weight, and every game regardless of how early it is has implications.

I like the Sox because I’m from Boston, but it’s difficult to call myself a diehard fan. I’d say I’m more of a fair weather fan when it comes to the other three sports.

I would like to watch more sports, I just have so much going on in a week that committing to every team seems like a chore. How’d y’all do it? It seems like some of y’all manage to watch every single team.

Maybe one day when I retire, I can sit on my ass like the lazy grandpa I am. Until then I will probably stick to football. For now, I’m just happy we get to cue the duck boats, because I am Boston Sports Trash.

Stay Classy…
