There Is No Crisis
In the big broad morning sky
there is no pie and no crisis
no faith, no doubt
no nihilistic wedge
that secret message
written in the clouds
just a pair of singing cardinals
a nest of baby crows
apples and brown sugar
on the counter in the kitchen
life with death
faith with doubt
pie and sky
and waiting
