Sunrise, Sunset
The night owl,
my eyes only caught
sunrise a few times
in my life.
That urgent memo
that hours await,
Hell or holy, our choice.
Sunset I prefer.
Whether hours past
were blessed or stressed,
this giant orange ball
slowly drops,
a New Day’s Eve.
Celebration of quieter moments,
spent dancing with my
fluorescent muses in
the dark alleys of my mind.
