long grey shadow

dim green
in the dust

slight rain
and slim glory

sun stripped bare
behind the clouds

rumble
and
flash

the turning day
reveals its plan

 

Edward L. Canavan is an American poet whose work has been published in Bleeding Hearts, Ibis Head Review, Burning Word, and Oxford Comma. He currently resides in the burning cauldron of hellfire
known as the San Fernando Valley, California.

Edward S. Gault is a poet and fine art photographer. He lives at Mosaic Commons, a co-housing community in Berlin, Ma. He has a wife Karen, and daughter.
