deep weight
strung across the days
time falls from meaning
hard to breathe
while holding your breath
the worst is always willing
in the ways of the mind
stopping
starting
slipping
thru the hands
of moments gone
as light unburdens the heart of its darkness
without diminishing its presence
just enough
to see beyond the difference
of everything that remains.
