My Mind and Me
My mind and ME
surviving on the mental vitamins
reminiscing the old memory of
Livin’ somewhere in Nashville
dancing freely on the counter bar
Drunk on the stars, the moon, the far
feeling as if I have got feathers in my heart.
Reminding myself that love rests within me
that I am a flower made of art
and this is where I want to be.
Carefree, full of energy, and taking flight
Where no one worries or catches my sight,
like a cloud not carrying rain.
With no strings attached to pain
but like lucid dreams of memorable silhouettes
I got haunted by my holographic harmonies.
Got lost in your pillow-shaped eyes,
And drinking in your lies
Committed sins are ribboned in rubies.
Drowned in the betrayal of stormy seas
by the hands of my lover’s demon and mysteries
However, there was still a breath left in me.
That came back to life, the mere reflections of me.
Now full of cages, full of fences
My mind and me
