My life is a vice.
It has a grip.
It swims in my membranes.
It will be over with time.
In a few years,
I will be in a place
with or
without you.
You might have left,
but I will be here.
I will be dancing
with the trees
in an aged freedom
I never thought I would see.
The world will be beautiful
That world of threes.
Emerson, I hope you see it.
But don’t see it like me.
See it with beauty.

Hey dude , sup? Remember me, it’s Dean, the guy from the Worcester Behavioral Center. I remember you pretty vividly. Anyway, I hope you’re doing better. I had no idea that this was an actual website. I heard you say this oddball magazine stuff while I was in there, and I just shrugged it off as whatever, perhaps it’s a way you’d say saying something is odd. This whole thing is surreal to me. You write poems and you created this outlet for artists, going since 1995. I am just astonished. I only saw a fragment of the real you.. the wild and emotionally distraught side. However, I did see a sudden change before I left. You said at one point “you’re the coolest motherf&#%er”. Just want to say thanks, and you’re pretty darn cool too. I’ll take the top title you gave me tho (lol, jk).
peace out dude, -Dean
~I really like this poem btw, “I’ve” seen it now 😉
