I am an aged man
with an ink pen.
I take less medication
than back then.
It doesn’t make me
a better man.
Just an older one.
I am a better man,
because I realize
everything I’ve done.
I forgive my
younger self
for being dumb.
But you make me
a better man.
You never gave up hope
that I could be better.
I love you for that.
