For some power becomes its very own justification;
how easy to just go along merrily, merrily, merrily
life just a vagrant dream, why antagonize the boss
when meanwhile we watch the number crunchers ADD
attention deficit disorder so unconsciously disinter
the work of the wing nut legislatures gerrymander
snaky districts segregation by disenfranchisement for
ever white supremacy team scheme that deliberately
by law delays the counting of votes (early and mail in)
until (gee) there all those ballots cast by blue, blue, blue
voters are stacked in places with least ability to count
them quickly and the folks who made it so can now point
to scapegoat those who had least control over all as those
who made it all so, the corrupt, call out corruption! Oh,
                         CORRUPTION.
