Will Our Children Be Direct Ascendants?

listen the great storm passes
it howls around the corners
them selves are a noisy bunch
we feel the rising wet cloud
the bolls of the leaves unwrap
water activates the still fungi
fruit draws the birds and bees
migrants seek out nourishment
deportees carry the rich culture
culture becomes a long march
a forced march in forever war
(oh, if the war president could see)
home less on Boston Common
heaven a forgotten dream time
of the black hole dream scream
modernity a Current Age scam
everything needs done impossible
Sisyphean push political process
overtasks our very common sense
and deportees carry away culture
migrants seek vital nourishment
refugees huddle down and wait
