It’s the ultimate Lent with Agent Orange Head
giving nightly combination survivor and apocalyptic
prepper for the final days of the global economy
starting a fire with two sticks it’s global warming
become planetary wide open continental interiors
on fire this slow torpor slowly bred by isolation
all of our human personal contradictions Marxian
homo sapiens tics become great eco-system hic-ups
foaming, stressed out and hiatal reflex contractions
in the pit of the gut our second brain this common
body we all share , the one true abiding collective
intelligence where the whole tree trunk is dotted
with retinal cells and its roots intricately are spread
in fungal web and the whole plant is whole of life
connected intertwined constant heart resonation
each load we carry grows wings of special support
keeping all of us, saving us, enlarging us once again
to include everything that we could ever possibly
                                   need?
