No time is perfect
History repeats itself.
We, our ancestors and God
exist in what seem to be
recycled outcomes,
haves vs have nots;
justice vs injustice.

Too many deny
what they witness.
We shout to God,
but how can God hear us
when so many others
deny that which even Hell
knows to be true?

Adversity and denial
showcase the best
and worst of our souls
and humanity.

People seem more aware
of the movement
of their breath
than the anguish of others.

Steep penalties incurred
by those who live too long,
who survive forcing others
to recall what they wish
to ignore or forget.

Time is what God gave us.
There is no perfect time
for such a small planet
in such a vast universe.
