Of course I miss you.
I’m thinking of you, Thinking of You
I’d like to have your Time
Maybe just a thought.

Take one of the many hats off and let me soothe your mind before you put it back on.
Of course I miss you!
Why shouldn’t I?
Have you heard your voice?
Listened to its words?
Seen your presence?
Felt its atmospheric condition?
Have you watched your mind at work?
Witnessed its manifestation?
My smile, my sigh

Of course I want to fall asleep next to you!
Why wouldn’t I?
In the flesh is best and brings about such a beautiful rest
We’ve proven this theory through many trials and tests and conclusively agree, Yes.
In our Arms we find Peace.
I find peace in watching you Be Yourself around me
I inhale You.
While you allow yourself to savor me, inspire me to flavor me.
Add a dash of trash to my unique class for the perfect mix of sophistication and crass
Just to make you Laugh.

Of course I miss that sound. That release of stress.
I miss you feeling my effort’s success
Having your touch at a finger’s flex
Having your head on my shoulder rest
While slightly indulging on my exposed neck

Speak about this
Dwell over that
Dissecting mysteries
Before you put on your hats
And back to the world return.
How can I not miss a natural yearn?
Wouldn’t a candle miss a match’s burn?
Doesn’t a sailor breathe in just the sea?
Doesn’t a bird live to fly free?
How can I not miss the lift I receive?
When it is my wave that you’ve made your sea
And there is no way that I’m going dry
I’ll crash onto sands of eternal time
Pull back into my depth your future lives
While who we’ve always been in my waters swim
Waiting for present lives to both jump right back in.
How can I not miss You?
