Boston (Dorchester!!!) based DJ/Producer Leo Alarcon created an amazing catalogue of music in 2016 for the underground House nation. Please stay tuned for a full feature on Leo here at the Underground Garden in 2017!!!

This week’s Underground Garden closes out 2016 by showing Gratitude to Leo for creating The Playroom Boston EP and inviting pianist/producer/songwriter/singer Giana Scola, producer Alberto “Souljah” Correia and myself into this project. It truly is a work of heART. A “DeepHouseLoveChild” as baptized by Ms. Scola. It is.

House Tribe Records released The Playroom Boston EP and made it available for all to enjoy, dedicate, dance and sing to exclusively at Traxsource. Right now you can purchase and download “Make It Home,” “You & Me,” (both versions!) and “Only Home” individually or the entire EP. You know I’m encouraging the full package! Because they are all so good!

The EP is a showcase of Leo’s intense, hard hitting heavy bass lines and unique style of Afro Latino House, Souljah’s smooth touches, Giana’s vulnerable, emotive voice and sensual lyrics and my poetic contribution on “Only Home” dedicated to the truth of hearts holding true natures, no matter the distance.

We are all Househeads. We love it, live it, support and encourage it. This EP is special in its collaborations and dedication shown toward it. Mr. Alarcon spends a day’s worth of time on each project and for his passion, we show gratitude. Whether the project is his monthly event, Sessions, his online mixes or producing, his 100% heart is there. And so is our 100% and we invite you to feel our love through sound.

We Love You & we Love Our Muses, Our Experiences, Our Healing, Our Community, Our Selves and closing out 2016 in celebration is a Blessing.

To ALL, may 2016 have been a gift, no matter the packaging, and may 2017 be the balance. I’m rooting for you and THANK YOU ODDBALL for giving me inspiration as well. I appreciate you Chad, Jason and all of the readers!!!
