~The never saids~

Sometimes you make me feel
Like I’m not enough
So you won’t call my bluff
And click on the cuff
Like I’m not enough

So

Today I stopped giving a fuck
for your fuck.
I tired of your fire, your desire.
False
Today I saw nothing when I thought of you.
no one. a shadow. darkness.
nothing.
Why is this happening?
Explain something to me.
Where is my happiness?
So today I just stopped giving a fuck for your fuck.
I don’t give a fuck if you don’t give a fuck fuck.
What’s there to gain but light
What’s there to lose but darkness
What’s there to hold but love
What’s there to lose but heartbreak.

Except

I want to give you so much head just call me Easter Island
Arrive at my shores
I don’t even mind an eye land
You gotta let me know which hand and if it’s an open palm or clenched grab
Normally a lady but you wake up a new class and it’s not bad
There’s no sandbag
to hold back
that
Crash
I want it

We only have it when we don’t know what it is

The love I chose to practice proved to be a failure
A danger
Toward a stranger

Love abdicated
I matter in one less person’s life

What I think love is
Isn’t
Love to me was complete
but that’s dangerous
Love was trust but that’s foolish
Love to me was expectation
and that’s destructive
One thing I know for sure
My love is sorry for even trying

Stay primal

It’s not you
It’s your demons
I know you’ve let them win
You’re weak
But I’ll make you stronger

The Mouth of the River
“He called me Oshun as his waves crashed against my riverbank.
I want to know how possible love deeper can be.
The moment he said my name I returned and felt the river he filled.
The river returning to the sea.
He names me as I swallow his masculine divinity.
Against my riverbanks”

Poetic messengers

Iron and flesh
He brought everything a hunger needs
Steel and meat

Intoxifying blood cells
Through many meals, meat and steel

I think about you all day too
My eyes open and
It’s still you
A carousel of vivid calm
Behind eyelids or
Cojoined palms
A touch a sound a wave of peace

As I move into the future
I become the past
Keep the present

The problem with you is #IDGAF.
