Before the wind collects voices of travelers in its embrace
Before birds open their eyes to chirp and cheep all on their mind
Before the sun arrives to blind delight highlight in shine
Before metal glides on tarred roads in droves
I collect by dawning moon the silence of rest while this portion sleeps I listen to its lullabies by dream
Daring to see the night’s ending and witness a day’s beginning
Without the need to expect peace
Within the thought to create peace
Along nature’s canvas and muse
To stars I sing adieu
Darkened lenses with walks anew
Facing the flames feathered beings bathe to
Inhaling steady wind I too
Naked pupils watch unblinking the brightest star move
Across the lands another man arises before all else do
To too
Enjoy the calm before the swarm of life responds to its sunlight
While I say good night until another early morning rise
Although the sight is dark
The eyes see what others do not
Ears moved by the power of Oya’s knots
Envision listen corner pocket shot
Thoughts heard wiser without running thoughts
I think before the birds rise
Leave worms for their devise
Seek seeds initialed with my life
Return to wonder tender with breath their life
What will become under this day’s sunlight?
I dream awake during sunrise
I dream awake during sunrise
