So loyal
I betray myself
Got permission from the Royals to excuse myself
Was told by the Royals there’s no need to explain myself
Those who know the reason for the Cut went ahead and wet themselves

So tolerant
I excuse the pain
For trying to see how high it can go in range
Got permission from the Royals to withdraw my sane
Received the gift of never feeling the cause that caused others to behave so strange

So attuned
I can switch up moods
According to the switcheroo
Of the hologram before me trying to morph into something new

Got permission from the Royals to bid that programming adieu

Keeping up with the, while being called the, Pendelum never became new

Surprising how exacting actors take their cue
Switching up the consistency of Never Changing wasn’t written into their story
So I left the crew

Got permission from the Royals to keep feeling Good

The sorrow I would feel for others was of no use
When the lifestyles they were upkeeping was their truth
And the faces I was seeing through their tears was an optical illusion while wanting their best to come through

The best, you see, I now see, was the taking they were getting from this “misery”
Of No Use.

So relaxed
I can take attacks

From the extra hardcore fronters and their happy masks
Got permission from the Royals to continue to not care back
In the way that makes the holder just fall back

Here’s to all that:

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I breathe again.

Loyal comes home to me again
Leaving tags on toes not carry-on’s
Got permission from the Royals to CARRY ON

So I Carry On
To the Break of Dawn

Ever grateful that it is with Song.

I Hear Me.
