Damaged
Broken
Words spoken
About those in transition
From closed to open
Fear not the monsters in closets or under your bed
The real monsters, you’ve heard, reside in your head
Wanna ride?
Haunted houses housing dark secrets inside
Turn a truth into a lie to hide the lie rather than face the truth
Keep tearing at your existence until you deliver the real you.
Magnetic shards of glass attract
Now you’re battling love at that
As
“Damaged
Broken”
At wounds poking
Unbeknownst to lovers
They Selves half open
If opposites attract
A healthy one be drained
If opposites attract
A hurting one be saved
If opposites attract
A healthy and a hurting one
Should meet halfway
What do ya say?
Channel Your Brave?
What do you get from a broken heart?
Beside so fucking smart.
Once you can laugh at yourself and do the restart
Mended and glued
The perspective granted is beyond this moment between the real me and you.
Time a upon once
2 strangers met at dew
Their lives were beginning and everything was anew
Perspectives shifted from sheltered to stark naked in the streets
They clothed each other with the little they were meant to keep
Upon time a once
They had to part
Too much battling going on in the dark
See above.
Haunted houses housing hurt love.
Once time an upon
Mosaic mirrors become the result
Of separate glass gathering in order to deliver the balm that cemented the bond
“Damaged and Broken” can still feel and believe in Love.
A time upon once
Psyches shattered
Discarded everything that mattered
Cyclonic episodes as sanity fought reality
Hoping to win its destiny crystal clear and free
Reality fights unfair when you witness it blindly.
Never for your self feel Sorry.
Accept what you see and from there Rise Accordingly.
Don’t fight yourself.
Accept yourself.
Don’t give up on yourself.
Respect yourself.
If you only trusted in how much you matter.
Damaged
Broken
Words spoken
About those daring to open
Daring to heal
Daring to feel
Daring to accept
That they reject remaining stuck on a negative step
Regardless of the labels prior actions cause others to judge
Regardless of the great fear caused by those first glimpses of self-love
Regardless of ties that must be cut.
Damaged Broken
Like your Mother’s Water
Time may be the Father
But ultimately trust when you accept it’s time
There is no limit to the Farther.
You’re Allowed to Grow.
