The Light
She sees dark
He speaks light
He flickers
She ignites
She the vessel
He the fuel
He the dove
Above her duel
She the breast
For his rest
He burns oil
She resets
He be brave
He insecure
She assures
I can see the light
But I can’t touch the light
And I don’t see the light
With my fingertips
I can see the light
But I don’t feel the light
Sometimes at night
I just think of the light
I can see the light
But I can’t see the light
It doesn’t feel right
I still have a fight
I know the light
I shine the light
I rather shine bright
Than just think about a light.
When
Everything you love is on the table
Everything is real now
Everything is before you
Everything you see
Is everything real
To the person you call
Me.
Everything at risk
There’s a stake in the road
It splits
Which way shall you go
You think
Before you in gold
Even the kitchen sink
Everything you love is on the table
Full risk
Are you able?
Lit on Capable.
