Beginning at Noon, The Black Market brings its AFRO-ROX day long outdoor festival to the grounds at The First Church at 10 Putnam Street at John Eliot Square in Roxbury. DJs Chris London, Savuth and Bruno soundtrack the afternoon and early evening in celebration of “Afrobeat Style, Art and Culture.” “Over 30 vendors” will be present and the day includes a live performance by Boston Soul Singer Lee Wilson of the absolutely passion driven chart topping “The La La Song” produced by Kelvin Sylvester! Get into it! The Royal Tribe that is The House of Nahdra will also be showcasing the incredible detail and talent of Boston Empress Nahdra Ra Kiros. There will also be dance performances as well as spoken word shared.
