Dancing with the Fireflies

I’m dancing with the fireflies on a summer solstice night
Dancing with the fireflies, watching them alight
Flitting and flirting, frolicking with glee
Flitting and flirting, they twinkle wink at me
On and off like natural holiday decorations
Come play, they say.
Dancing with the fireflies, a great way to end my day

Dancing with the fireflies on a summer solstice night
Dancing with the fireflies, little points of light
Warm and comfortable I am, tipping through the grass
Dancing with the fireflies, I pray the feeling lasts
Radiant in my purple dress, skipping around my tree
fending off the mosquitoes, just to dance with thee
