You can’t be nothing without some blood
And if you want something it’s got to be blood
Because the devil, he wants blood
And god, he wants blood

And your father, he wants blood
And your boss is going to want blood
And your pastor is going to want blood
And the mrs., she’s going to want blood
And the kids, they want blood

Because it’s blood that you need to save
And it’s blood you need to give
And if you want saving, you need some blood
And if you want forgiving it’s going to be blood
