Sara Hebert is a 12th grade literary arts student at the Mississippi School of the Arts in Brookhaven, Mississippi. Much of her writing addresses personal issues, particularly growing up as a disabled bisexual woman in the south. Her works have been accepted by Synthesis Publications, Live Poets Society, and Global Comment.

Lauren Shear is a museum professional, public historian, and lifelong resident of Massachusetts. She has been working with activist groups since college and has been seeking ways to support communities under attack ever since.
