Why Einstein Did Not Go to the Prom?

Einstein was asked to the prom.
He was offered even from a Senior!
Maybe it was a joke, but he
wanted to go. Who wouldn’t?
To the dance with a big red flower
on his lapel and say his own craziest things,
and into the mirror of his bow tie.
The Juniors would have to listen
since he was with a Senior.
The Senior would stand and smile
so proud, and the Sophomores would gasp
in awe – yes, of Einstein who they
had laughed at in Physics lab.
Imagine that! He was dating now a Senior!

So why didn’t he go? It was a mystery
to everybody. Except they knew
he had great things ahead of him,
things that could not be understood.
