Tiny Beast
Such a tiny
beast
surrounded by
monsters,
it survives
the only way
it knows how.
Carried from
giant host
to giant host,
it gains
in numbers,
invisible
to the eye,
their lives
dependent upon
the monsters’
monstrous
arrogance,
a fatal flaw,
that bellows
at the idea
that something
so small
could ever
defeat
something
so great.
