“All the Good Girls Run”

The sparrow wouldn’t know
If they made the choice
To run

On their own
There’s no perception
Of speed or escape

The frosty wings
The tailout
The big mistakes
The headstrong
The windfall

Sing a song for two people
Then learn to
Sing it alone

The sparrow sees all
The girls knowing
They’re all good
Girls and how
They run

Someone said
That this year
There’d be more
Races to win

Nobody knew the word
For a second place finish
If there even is
Such a word
