Nebula Pearls
You feed my soul like
Cheerios or ginger snaps;
as if I feel the vitamins of you
filling the silent edges of my eager appetite.
It’s not the butcher or the reeling in pole
or the copper tin pan burning
over a mountain of coals;
it’s the streamline of hearts affection
like a silver line of love
that weaves from a celestial galaxy body
through a misty mountain mahogany
where there is an embrace of sound
as pure as a star being born.
Like a morning glass of milk fresh with nebula pearls
I drink it as it swirls like chocolate melting
over a bowl of vanilla beans
warm with cream and honey.
You are both the cream and the honey.
You are the shine that turns my eyes sunny.
Oh, thank you honey star. I feel so full, so bright, so free.
