Erik Nelson is an office drone by day, coffee house poet by night, who chases sea birds, antiques, sirens (the mythical kind), gremlins, and trips to places where memory resides. He grew up on records and tapes, and feels something was lost when audio went digital. He enjoys science fiction fandom but feels something is missing in it, so it is in effect one big lipogram. He believes that something written on a website is both an article and a wave at the same time. He notes that “Augmented Reality” is “a Collage poem made by catching, collecting and evolving internet headlines that were current on July 19, 2016.”
