[absurdity and redemption]
time and time enough
circles broken in tandem
everything is all the time
while nothing waits
in the shallows of slack and drift
traversing the endless possible
permutations of this improbable trip
no drugs needed
to boggle the mind
when the days and nights alone
are enough to summon the comfort
of madness’ sleeping giant
keep close the heart
tender with transience.
