She was the everyday
cameo girl of 1966.

Clicking her rounded
toe shoes to the Byrds—The
Crying of Lot 49 cuddled
in her low hipster pocket.

short blond hair
fondled by an off
cream headband.

VIP at the Whiskey a Go Go.

Champion of impressive hippy
chicks scanning the scene along
Sunset Strip.

Knowing where to score
the primo weed—smoking
character with the rest of the
contented Laurel Canyon folk/rock
crowd.

She could dance
                 dance
                 dance…

While imbibed in the counterculture
acoustic strings, echoing through
the timbre of LA.
