Rubik’s Cube

Solve me!
I’m queer .

A toy with six faces
             ( it’s the Gemini in me )
that rotates clockwise          I fear

When identity is jigsaw
             painfully psychosocial and
dangerously asexual

Everything falls out of place              (or so they say)

With something as simple as two men
             two women
one nobody

I’m entangled in a breast lump
Of society
interlocking plastic pieces
called genitals      (of which I think I have none)

My pussy and heart in knots—
I am so easily pulled apart

A mechanism like me
is
             amusement device
for others to
             Solve . ( but there’s nothing to solve )

There is no sudoku result
             to puzzle pieces,
The Rubik’s cube                & me      ( are one in the same )

Comprised of
expectations of sex ( to have it or not )
Sappho metaphors
             enigmatic paradoxes
Of gender,
             and
color-coded maze
             spectrums

In essence,
I am a game for speedcubers to figure out .

Even with a box-like anagram
of my existence
             perfectly mapped out

At 25,
             Still I remain

Unsolved .
