All the Wind’s Unfinished Kisses

To please your open thighs,
my fingers mingle
the patience of stone
with the readiness of light.

Gathered in your embrace,
all the wind’s unfinished kisses
excite your flesh through my lips.

Anywhere you’re naked,
darkness tosses
a hyacinth into the fire,
and my tongue becomes
a feather riding
the crest of a wave
all the way to the shore.
