Born from the Same Flame

Night’s candles
Burned out
As a new day
Comes about,
But rather than
Live with doubt,
Learn more
And soar
Intellectually,
For society
Must employ
Knowledge acquisition
To prevent another
Spanish Inquisition,
And even though the French
Will gladly die for love,
Spread love
Rather than fear,
For this present moment
Is one to hold dear,
And the moment is here
To move and improve
While knowing
That doing nothing
Is a waste of a life,
So end strife
And live life
By doing anything possible
While coping with the impossible
As a way to say
That hope will find a way
To make this present day
Amazing in any way
