I am done.
I can’t write a poem.
I am drained.
I nearly died in a car crash on Sunday.
Thankfully,
we avoided death.
Our car was untouched.
I am broken.
Never would I wish
my life on
anyone.
And that’s what I got today.
Everything I worked for
is gone.
I can’t even write a poem.
Emptiness is all around
me.
And that’s where I am.
Drained.
And circling.
