I want to cry,
but what would
it do for me?

Would it change
my reality?
Make me less me?

They say wishes
are best left
for the wells.

Well, I need
a change
of scenery.

I need distance,
far away from
you and me.

Drop me in water,
give me acid,
take away my pain.

Give me gravity,
in hopes that
I’ll fly again.

I’m a messy man,
in a messy body,
in a bag of skin.

So ugly, trapped
inside me, like Oz,
out of oxygen.
