I don’t hate life.
I really don’t.
You should have seen me
as a child.
I smiled a lot.
Sort of dimwitted,
you know.
Not realizing
the weight of the world.

I told someone
in the thick of it
that the universe
is rather calm
if we want it to be.
I wasn’t lying.
I truly think this world
is a good one.

You can buy anything
with money.
You have unlimited data
with 5G.
You can buy food
and watch pornography.
You can cook food
if you read a cooking blog.
It’s all there
on the 5G network.

So, once you get done
watching your pornography,
You can clean up
and read a cooking blog,
then you can cook
steak tips with sweet potatoes.
All on your 5G network.
Just like God intended.
