Fear is a feather in my cap.
Rapid pulse, heartbeat,
severed synapses
snap.

I am not a menace,
and I am not deplorable.
I am the honorable holding on,
sliding like a porcelain ball.

You got this,
I say to myself.
I look at the picture.
It prays for better health.

It says, you got this.
Stand up in your chair.
Long legs.
Walk away.
When you are ready,
I will be there.
